Sibvon Rose Giguere began playing music at age two by ear. She is a recording/performing artist, a teacher, actress and singer/songwriter. Sibvon is trained in many types of music including Rock, Pop, Classical, Musical Theater, Jazz, Pop, and Opera. She has been a music director for various projects throughout Boston and NYC. Sibvon is a former signed recording artist (liquid 8 records) and has toured the US, receiving national radio attention & promotion. She has also toured Europe multiple times with Chamber choirs. Sibvon studied vocals at Berklee College of Music, theater at Emerson College, and Vocal Training from Craig Wich of the Boston Conservatory. She prides herself on teaching vocal health awareness and is an NH licensed Speech Pathologist assistant with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

I enjoy watching them discover their voice and teaching them how to express themselves through singing. I love helping them grow into confident performers that can handle any type of music that is thrown their way because we have worked together to create their own personal style.”

Sue has been singing since before she can remember and playing piano since she was 7 years old. In high school, Sue was the first-chair clarinet player as a sophomore, and the first-chair bassoonist in her junior and senior years. Sue was a vocal soloist and member of Voices of Distinction, a delightful and accomplished chorus centered in Kingston, NH, for several years. She also served as the Junior Choir Director and as a piano accompanist of Main Street Church in Amesbury, MA, where she is still a member and soloist in the Senior Choir. Sue is currently a lead singer of “Edgartown”, an acoustic rock and blues trio, which plays throughout the Merrimack Valley.

Marion Raymond teaches piano and voice at North Main Music. She is a songwriter and improviser who began her journey as a musician at her local church. At the young age of 4, she began experimenting with sounds on both the pipe organ and piano, mentored by many teachers and the choir director along the way. She has had experience in choruses and chamber chorus, and has played alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, flute and xylophone in band and jazz band. After many years playing for a restaurant in her hometown and a few years playing in church services, Marion is ready to teacher skills to others and to encourage students to develop their own personal connection to music. She loves to compose and improvise with music and help others to compose their own songs

Lianna J. Giannini began singing at the age of 5 and has loved everything music-related ever since. She started playing guitar at 12 years old, and throughout middle school and high school, she was actively involved in after-school choruses. In high school, she also learned piano and began studying voice more intensely. Additionally, she was a member of the dance team, where she had the opportunity to explore how music can inspire movement.
Lianna’s inspiration for singing and playing comes from her father, a talented guitarist, as well as from the legendary Alicia Keys and Demi Lovato. She is a graduate of Keene State College, where she earned a degree in Music with a minor in Psychology. During her time at Keene State, she studied and performed music across various genres and languages.
Lianna’s mission is to share her passion for music with her students, sparking excitement about their favorite songs while encouraging creativity and improvisation.

Kathy Shoemaker began her musical journey at the age of 9 when her father signed her up for accordion lessons. She went on to be involved in accordion bands, ensembles, and competitions. During high school, she studied voice and taught herself piano.
Kathy graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. with a Bachelor of Music. She also studied jazz vocal at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. Additionally, she earned a Master’s in Education in school counseling from Rivier University in Nashua, N.H.
Kathy has taught middle school chorus and brings more than 20 years of experience teaching private voice and piano lessons to her position at North Main Music.

Leeyah Soen is a voice and piano teacher at North Main Music with a passion for music that began at age 4. She quickly developed a love for rhythm, emotion, and self-expression through her piano lessons.
During high school, Leeyah competed in show choir and theater, gaining valuable performance experience. She later performed at prestigious venues like City Hall and the Statehouse, and has explored multiple instruments while performing with various bands.
Now a college student studying electrical engineering, Leeyah is fascinated by the intersection of math, science, and music. Alongside teaching and performing, she’s working on an album that blends psychological concepts with different musical styles to evoke emotions and bring joy.
We offer lessons on a month-to month basis, so there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.

Lessons are available seven days a week, and scheduled once a week.
Note: To qualify for our Senior Discount Program, a person must be 60 years or older.
