Matthew Marrello is a piano and trumpet teacher at North Main Music. His musical journey began at the early age of 5 when he picked up the piano and shortly afterwards, he was introduced to the trumpet. After studying music composition at Keene State College, Matthew has gone on to play both instruments professionally in many performing groups that tour across the New England area including jazz ensembles, rock bands, and solo performances. He specializes in jazz and improvisation, but is proficient in teaching all styles and levels. He also encourages students to write their own music.
