Teaching Philosophy
"I have always found that chamber music, small ensembles that have no conductor, is the purest (and my favorite) form of music, as each member of the ensemble has to communicate to the others completely through the music. I love that we can all be connected without having to say a word, and nothing has ever worked like that for me quite as well as music has. I strive to imbue my teaching with that level of connection so to inspire my students to seek out that higher understanding as well. Music should be a fun, communal activity for everyone to share in!"
