Bass Lessons

We specialize in teaching our students the contemporary and popular songs that they love through instructional methods that are easy, friendly, and supportive!
Bass Candids
When students participate in bass lessons they begin to learn one of the most integral instruments in the world. The bass provides a rhythmic counter to the guitar, serving as an anchor alongside the drums. The bass has been an integral part of a number of musical genres including rock, reggae, funk, soul, jazz, and progressive rock. Bass lessons give students the opportunity to learn many important aspects of music such as rhythm, melody, harmony, and music theory concepts such as chord structure. Countless bass players have taken the bass beyond providing rhythm and into playing melodies, including Paul McCartney of The Beatles and John Entwistle of The Who.

Bass FAQs
Bass is a bigger scale instrument than guitar and requires bigger hands. We recommend starting at 10 years old. There are some smaller scale basses available but they are much less common.
